Mary Teresa Franelich
Thomas and Odelia Franelich's last child. Born October 30,1868, just 2 months after Thomas died. Odelia was 6 months pregnant with Mary Teresa when she became almost fatally ill with a large loss of blood as described in Thomas' letter. Mary Teresa died 12:30 PM May 1,1945 at the Pensacola Hospital. After the funeral services in St. Joseph's church she was buried in Magnolia cemetery (lot 24-sq. 24).
She was listed in the obit as Mary P. Burlison when her sister Elisabeth Ana (68) died February 25, 1924 but her husband in March of 1900 was William H. Burlison. He was born in 1872, died December 21, 1920 and is buried in St. John's Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Census for Escambia County in 1920.
After William Burlison's death, Mary married Charles Joseph Hurd. When she died her name was listed as Mary Franelich Hurd.
